P&C Notice of Annual General Meeting

Tuesday 15 February-7:30pm

Please join us for the AGM on Tuesday.  There will be an annual report on 2010 then elections for all P&C positions for 2011 will take place. 

These include President, Vice-President (2), Secretary, Treasurer plus 6 general executive positions.  This team oversees the P&C and its sub-committees and generally meets 1-2 times per term. Anyone can nominate for these roles and we encourage you to think about it and get involved!

As well as the Executive Committee, all other roles (convenors of sub-committees such as Uniform Shop, Canteen, Safety, etc) are open for nominations. You can access details of these roles here

The meeting will be brief and after a short break will be followed by the 1st General Meeting of the P&C for 2011.

  • Reports from Principal, Deputy Principals & sub-committees
  • Upcoming events (Welcome Back Night)
  • Fundraising ideas for 2011
  • Specific financial motions to be voted on as follows:
    1. That the P&C donates to the school $40,000 for the employment of a specialist technology teacher to coordinate and implement computer lessons for all K – 6 students and to also provide technological administrative support. Proposed by A. Stevenson
    2. The P&C donates to the school $80,000 for the employment of Support Teacher Learning Assistance Teachers (STLA) and resources that provide assistance for K – 6 students with literacy and numeracy skills. Proposed by A. Stevenson
    3. The P&C donates to the school $72,000 to purchase and install, 8 x Interactive White Boards for KindergartenYear 6 classrooms. Proposed by A. Stevenson
    4. The P&C donates to the school $4 500 to maintain the employment of an additional SAO (School Administration Officer) for half a day per week. This role includes assistance with P&C administration throughout the year. Proposed by A. Stevenson
