New Conductor for CB 2012

Please welcome Jonathan Dollin who joins LEPS as our new Conductor for CB in 2012.

Jonathan is a professional saxophonist, flautist, clarinetist, conductor and teacher with a wealth of experience in both performance and conducting.

Music is Jon's passion and he believes in teaching the fundamentals of music first such as  good breathing and  good technique prior to teaching musical styles such as jazz, pop, funk, classical and contemporary.

After graduation from University with a Bachelor of Creative Arts in Musical Performance majoring in Saxophone in 2005 he has been an Instrumental Tutor at various schools and comes to us from St Pius X College in Chatswood where he continues both as conductor of the Junior Concert band and Junior Jazz band as well as tutor in saxophone, clarinet and flute.

Jon believes that lessons should be fun and is thrilled to be part of the LEPS Band Programme as conductor. He is looking forward to meeting all the children in Concert Band this year and teaching them some terrific new music for 2012!
