Tuition
Children are expected to have weekly lessons on their chosen instrument. The cost of private tuition ranges to approximately $38.00 per half hour. The band committee manage an after-school tutor programme at LEPS on a first come, first served basis.

Information on commercial tuition is also usually available from the various local music stores.
Parents must be prompt in collecting children after lessons. Parents are reminded that it is not the responsibility of the tutor to supervise children before or after lessons. If required, please use the LEPS Before and After School Care facility.
Training Band Tutorial System
A tutorial system operates for one of the two weekly rehearsal sessions for Training Band in Term 1. The children are divided into seven instrument groups for specialist tuition in their particular instrument. This excellent service is included in the Band Fees. We have found this (along with their private lessons) greatly assists the children in learning to play.
