Welcome Back 2010

Kindy 2009 will be organising the Welcome Back in February 2010.

Kindy parents, please get together with your class parents or other Kindy parents to start planning for a great family evening to welcome everyone back to school in 2010. The Welcome Back is a very popular event at the school and lots of fun.

The organising team will be working with our Deputy Principal, Sakuna Pho to work out the theme and the program for the evening. As Term 4 is a very short term, it would be very helpful to have the organising team set up by 6 November.

Major Fundraiser 2010

Year 1 2009 will be organising the major fundraiser for 2010.

Year 1 parents, please get together with your class parents or other parents in your grade to set up an organising committee that will lead the major fundraiser next year.

It would be very useful to have a team set up by 6 November to decide on what fundraiser you wish to organise and when the event should be held.

These events present great opportunities to get to know your school, other parents and form great friendships, all while you are having fun and helping to provide valuable resources for your children’s school.

If there a few parents or groups of parents able to help with the above events, please contact me so that the necessary information can be passed on to your team. The P&C Executives will provide support to the organising committees.

Sponsor Relations

The School and P&C are looking for parents who are interested in building and maintaining relationships with major sponsors each year. You will liaise with businesses or individuals who donate substantial sponsorships to the school. This will be a new team and will work closely with the School and the P&C Executives to foster these relationships. Please contact Andrew Stevenson or Sandra Lee if you would like to be a part of this new venture.
