Major fundraiser 2010
Calling all Year 2 Parents
Lindfield East’s Major Fundraiser will be held on Saturday 4th September 2010 and will take the form of a Trivia Night:
This will be the major fundraiser for this year so we are working very hard to ensure that it raises as much money as possible. The funds raised from the event are vital to pay for things that benefit all students such as:
- The STLA teachers
- Technology Teacher
- The SMARTBOARDs in the classrooms
- and many other materials/facilities that are not provided by the Government
Year 2 parents are responsible for organising the major fundraiser this year and your committee has been working hard since Term 4, 2009 to get the ball rolling but now we need your help!
Please volunteer and help out, even if it is just on a very minor scale (every little bit helps!)
At the moment we are particularly looking for the following:
- Graphic Designers who can help with the design of posters, logos and tickets
- Helpers for the Auction team –making phone calls, posting letters, finding possible donors
- Helpers for the Sponsor team –making phone calls, finding possible sponsors, posting some letters
- Helpers for the Ticket Sales team – tickets will go on sale at start of Term 3 and we need people to drum-up support so we get as many attendees as possible
We will need other helpers as we go along so if there is anything you can help with now or later on please give me a call.
